A to-do list for the next Democratic trifecta

Rolling Back Trump

Every square is something Donald Trump or his administration signed, ordered, or put his name on since January 20, 2025. Some can be undone with a signature. Others will take an act of Congress, new rules, or years of rebuilding. Each square shows who it affects.

Pentagon awards to firms backed by Trump's sons

Where it standsIn effect
  1. Nov 3, 2025The Pentagon announced plans to lend $620 million to Vulcan Elements, a rare-earth magnet maker. ProPublica reports that 1789 Capital, the firm where Donald Trump Jr. is a partner, was among the investors in the company's $65 million funding round announced that August. Source ↗
  2. Mar 18, 2026The Army awarded Hadrian, a manufacturer the lawmakers' letter says is backed by 1789 Capital, an initial $39.2 million toward an $80 million total. The letter says the Navy also awarded Hadrian a $900 million contract. Source ↗
  3. Aug 4, 2026Senators Warren, Blumenthal and Duckworth and Representative Garcia, all Democrats, asked the Pentagon's Inspector General to investigate. They cite $3.2 billion in federal awards and $3.1 billion in future contract options to companies tied to the sons; their letter attributes the figures to Washington Post reporting. Source ↗
  4. Oct 6, 2026The White House and Anduril announced a new Baltimore County shipyard. Anduril says it will invest $3.7 billion of its own money and that the Navy has awarded it a contract worth up to $2.9 billion; the White House put the total at $6.6 billion. Trump visited the site that day. Source ↗
  5. Oct 7, 2026 · LatestABC News reports that companies backed by the sons have won more than $6 billion in active or promised contracts since the investments, and that Anduril has held federal contracts since 2019. A spokesperson for the brothers denied any wrongdoing. A Pentagon official said, "No company receives preferential treatment." Source ↗
How to roll it backCongress can write conflict-of-interest limits for Pentagon awards and investments into the annual defense bill, and the Inspector General can review awards if asked. A future administration can adopt stricter recusal rules.

About

How we choose

Anything Trump or his administration has done since January 20, 2025 that a future administration or Congress could reverse, limit, or keep from happening again. It goes on the list when official records document it or at least two major news outlets report it.

How it's updated

Every morning we check the Federal Register, court rulings in the cases we track, federal campaign-finance filings (FEC), SEC filings from federal contractors we follow, and major news. New orders are confirmed by the Federal Register, AP, or Reuters before they're added. Descriptions come from the documents themselves and independent reporting, not White House press materials.

Sources and corrections

Every square links to its source: official records first (Federal Register, court filings, federal contract, FEC and SEC records), then wire services and major news outlets. No advocacy groups, opinion pieces, or niche publications. Each square shows when it was last updated. Rulings in tracked cases are checked daily, and errors are corrected when found.

Independent project, not affiliated with any party or campaign.

What others see

Like any website, this page has to be delivered to you. Our host, Cloudflare, handles that and processes standard request information, such as IP address and browser type, to deliver and protect the site. We see only overall totals, like the number of visits in a day. The site's fonts come from Google Fonts, which receives the same kind of request information. Links to sources, Congress, and social networks take you to those sites, which have their own policies.
